My second attempt at constructing a magic lantern for displaying glass slides succeeded. I shortened the design to a rational height and added a great deal of support members to realise the final form. There is an indentation and a hole in the center of the base to allow for either a tealight candle or wired bulb to be added, illuminating the slides from within. There is a subconscious 1-2-3 motif to the decorations that adorn the three sides.
