Once more turning mistakes into intention, this small dish, itself the result of several attritions of material, developed a pronounced lip in the latter spins. I shaped this into a kind of ladle rest, then was inspired later to decorate the inside with a cat pawprint. The satin red glaze is thin but detectable, whereas the smoke grey of the cat paw is wonderfully evident.
