Trivase

First terracota piece, it was interesting to experience the difference in this clay versus the stoneware. Terracota is silkier and easier to mold, but also less rigid for holding shape. This is a slab-build form, not really appropriate as a vase because it is not internally glazed nor tightly sealed along the bottom. It could be a candle holder or pen holder though. A small spot of medium blue glaze decorates the raised triangular ornament.
