While waiting for the Golden Web Plate to be raku fired I took some time on the wheel. I ended up creating the following three pieces within an hour, starting with this plate. Drizzled with black glaze and then dipped into majolica white, the contrast and interactions give the plate a vivid inkblot feel, hence the name.
